HWF distributed Iftar kit to poor families in Meerut


Meerut: HWF distributed Iftar kit in Meerut district among poor Muslim families. The volunteers and members of HWF made their valuable support and efforts for distributing Iftar kit to poor families in Kathore, Meerut, Radhna, Inayatpur, Beyana, Shahjahanpur, Sardhana, Mesrapur district. Aslam, district director of Darsgah Islamia, Inayat pur, Radhna said that the kit contains food ingredients of one month for an average family. He also said that HWF distributed Iftar kit to poor muslim families in last ramazan also. After seeing the success and appeasement among poor families it is distributing Iftar kit which contains one month of food items.
HWF is also running other social welfare schemes in which iftar party for poor and rickshaw distribution among rickshaw puller is included. The aim of foundation is to uplift the marginalized section of the society in socially, economically and educationally.
The project of vision 2016 under HWF are scholarship for poor students, establishment of schools, colleges and institutions, medical facility, opening of hospitals like Al-Shifa Hospital, interest free loan and banking, other schemes for poor and backward classes of the society.
He also said that if zakat system get support from Shariah for implementation then every section of the Muslim community will be benefited and satisfied and the economical condition of Muslim and the nation will be improved. He said that the ramazan gives the opportunity of introspection, purifying the soul whereas it also gives the chance to feel the problem of poor and destitute and try to remove it. He also emphasized that the Muslim should unite and change the condition of Muslim Ummah in an accordance with the Islam.

Jamaat-e-Islami, U.P. distributed Iftar kit to poors

Saharanpur 27th Aug’2010: Jamaat-e-Islami distributed Iftar kit with the help of vision 2016-Human Welfare Foundation to poor women.
According to volunteers about 90 Iftar kits were distributed to poor women.
Each Iftar Kit contains
Rice/Wheat Flour 20 Kgs
2. Sugar 3 Kgs
3. Cooking Oil 2 Kgs
4. Besan (Gram Flour) 2 Kg
5. Dal (Pulses) 2 Kgs
6. Salt 1 Kg
7. Milk Powder 1 Kg
8. Tea Leaves ½ Kg
9. Dates 2 Kgs
The Iftar Kits were distributed in Muslim girls inter college.
On this occasion, the U.P. zone president, Maulana Kafeel Ahmad (Bijnaur) along with district director Iqbal Khan, local president Abdul Haseeb and former district director Jameel Manvi and many important personalities of Jamaat-e-Islami made their participation.

HWF decides to distribute Excellence Awards in five states

New Delhi 28th August‘ 2010: Human Welfare Foundation, Delhi based NGO has decided to distribute academic excellence award, cash prizes and certificates (under vision 2016, a mega socio-economic empowerment program) among meritorious students of U.P. state on 3rd October’ 2010 at 9 am in Baradari, Kaisar Bagh, Lucknow. Besides U.P. the award for academic excellence will also be distributed in a function which will held on 26th September in Bihar, on 10th October in Assam, on 7th November in West Bengal. The date of Jharkhand for distributing award for academic excellence is yet not decided.
Apart from this, the foundation has also decided to give awards to minority-run schools whose performance report has been remarkable and best in their districts in last three years.
These awards for academic excellence-2010 (U.P.) will be distributed to encourage the students so that they can perform better in future also and become a part of national building, said Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordinator of HWF.
It should be noted that the foundation distributed academic excellence awards in U.P. last year. After seeing the good response of people living in U.P. state and media coverage, the foundation has again decided to organise academic excellence award function.
The foundation is helping poor students also with many schemes like scholarships program for meritorious and poor students. Besides these foundation is running a scholar school in Abul Fazal Enclave, Delhi. The foundation has opened many schools in different parts of India like West Bengal, Jharkhand etc. Foundation is also proposed to open schools in different places of India. These steps are being taken by Foundation soon after the report of Sachar Committee in which it showed the pathetic and deprived condition of Muslim educationally, socially and financially.
“The Award for Academic Excellence- 2010 is to motivate the minority students for performing excellently in their academic studies. It is to be noted that the Higher Secondary Examination Results of Muslim Community in the state has been on the poor side during the recent years,” said Prof. K. A. Siddique Hassan, General Secretary of Human Welfare Foundation.
Prof. SidheeqHassan also said in a press release about the role of education in the development of our country. Therefore we are making every effort to improve the quality of life of the neglected sections of the society through Vision 2016 program, Prof. SidheeqHassan added.
Last year, HWF felicitated 750 meritorious Muslim students of U.P. state in an award function which was held at Hari Ram, Ashok Marg, Lucknow. About 10 schools were also felicitated on this occasion and were given mementos and citation.

HWF organized Iftar Party for above 500 rickshaw pullers





New Delhi 24 August’ 210: An Iftar Party for rickshaw pullers and labourers by HWF held in Milli Model School, Abul Fazal Enclave, New Delhi. The foundation also organized such Iftar Party in last year too in the campus of Dawat Nagar. More than 300 rickshaw pullers and labourers participated in this Iftar Party. After breaking the fast (Iftar) they were served with dinner (meals) and dates also.

Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordinator of HWF said that foundation has always been involved for the welfare of muslim community and their upliftment. He further said that we tried to do something worthful and organizing Iftar Party for rickshaw pullers and labourers is one of the project under vision 2016 of HWF. Such Iftar Party for rickshaw pullers and labourers is with a purpose to instill in them encourage so that they can come to us carrying with their problems without hesitation.

Apart from Iftar Party and dinner, the foundational also distributed Kurta and Pajama as Iftar Kit among rickshaw pullers and labourers so that they can better celebrate Eid. It is to be noted that the foundation has also distributed rickshaw to rickshaw pullers in Delhi and in other states of India too.
Like in earlier Ramazan, in this Ramazan too, the foundation distributed Iftar kit to more than 300 poor muslim families so that they can break the fast like common people in whole month of Ramazan.

Mohd. Rafeek, treasurer of foundation delivered an elaborated speech soon after Iftar Party. He appealed to rickshaw pullers muslim brethren to take care of their health and this can be possible only after one will live with cleanliness. He said that cleanliness is half of faith. He also drew attention of them and raised some questions regarding the existence of mankind and universe and replied that Allah has created everything. We should prepare for life after death and death will certainly come either we want or not,” said Mohd. Rafeek.

Lastly, he appealed them to build interest of learning and then we will plan to impart education and learning classes to you all,” he appealed.

The acclaimed editor of Radiance Viewsweekly and social activist, Mohd. Ejaz Ahmad Aslam has also welcomed the guests who made their presence in Iftar Party.

HWF to give Ramazan kits to 3000 poor families


New Delhi: The Human Welfare Foundation, the social service wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has started distribution of Iftar kit to more than 3,000 poor Muslim families in states like Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Haryana and Delhi.
Each kit will carry ingredients enough for an average family for the whole month of Ramazan.
Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordiantor of Human Welfare Foundation said today that the foundation distributed Iftar Kit to poor Muslim families in last Ramadan also. After seeing the success the Foundation made some changes in Iftar Kit by adding more weights in the ingredients. In this Ramadan the ingredients in Iftar kit will be for one month which will cost about rupees fifteen hundred (Rs. 1500).
Apart from this, the foundation also organized Iftar Party in last Ramadan in Abul Fazal Enclave, New Delhi in which it invited poor Muslim fasting people including rickshaw puller. The foundation also organized Iftar Kit party in various places of the states in last Ramadan. The aim of this foundation is to provide maximum support and benefit to poor Muslim families so that they can fast and break Iftar like common people rather than taking fast and breaking Iftar without proper meals and Iftar.

INDEPENDENCE DAY PROGRAMME IN SCHOLAR SCHOOL



New Delhi 14th August: Scholar school organized a progamme on Independence Day on 14th August 2010. Children delivered their speech on several interesting and important topics like terrorism and the problem facing by students at this time.
The teachers and important dignitaries who were participated in the meeting highlighted the importance of education and emphasized the struggle and sacrifices given by the leaders like Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Gandhiji, Maulana Mohd. Ali Jahar and Jawahar Lal Nehru.
On this occasion, Prof. K. A. Siddique Hassan, Secretary of Human Welfare Foundation appealed to everyone for removing the illiteracy from minority community. He also added that the HWF is a part of vision 2016 and our project is to open many schools in different places of India. Our aim is to remove the illiteracy rate of minority community which is clear from Sachar Committee report. The opening of scholar school is also in aim of uplifting the children of minority community in the field of education. He further said that the purpose of this school is to impart education to the poor students. These students will get quality education along with Islamic education which most of the school forgive to give, emphasized K. A. Siddique Hassan. He also insisted the importance of education to children and also said that we can feel the full and real freedom only after the majority of us will be literate and serving the society in a respected position. It should be noted that scholar school established in Abul Fazal Enclave to impart Islamic Education along with modern education.
Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Ashfaque Ahmad, Abdul Basit Anwar, National co-ordinator of HWF, Saleemullah Khan mainly made their participation on this very occasion.
