New Delhi/Lucknow October 24: The Delhi-based Human Welfare Foundation and PM Fondation Kerala has felicitated 394 meritorious students belonging to Muslim minority community of in a Award Distribution Ceremony held at Baradari Qaisar Bagh Lucknow. Besides, 03 schools were also felicitated on this occasion and were given mementos and citation for their good performance in the last three academic sessions.The awardees students were those who scored more than 60% marks in Board Examination for the academic session 2009-10. Each of the students was given Cash Award of Rs 1000 and Certificate of Merit and Medal.
The Award for Academic Excellence - 2010 is meant to encourage the students to continue performing better in future.. Prof. K.A. Siddiq Hassan, General Secretary, Human Welfare Foundation who attended the Function as Special Guest. Addressing the students and their parents, emphasized the role of education in the development of our country.
In the function Best Minority educational Institution Award 2010 has been given to three minority institutions. These institutions are Faiz e Aam inter College Faizabad,Jafar Memorial Girls School Faizabad and Iqra Public School Phoolpur Azamgarh ,They are awarded with Mementos and certificate.
The function was presided over by Moulan Rabe Hasani Nadvi Nazim Nadwatul Ulama Lucknow. He congratulated the awardees and Orgnisers of this Mega event.Justice Nazim Zaidi of Allahbad High court Lucknow Bunch Particepated as Chief Guest. A number of other dignitaries who attended and given their speachs in the program included Justice Gafoor Chairman PM Foundation Kerala,Ex advocate General UP SM Kazmi,Sharfuddin,CH Abdurrahim Trustee PM Foundation,Ameer e Halqa UP East Moulana Waliullah Saeedi Falahi.
